
On April 17, 2026, the workshop entitled “What Does the Future Sound Like?” was held in Bucharest, Romania, organized by the Ascultă Viața Association.
Following a presentation by Dr. Cosma Sebastian on the status of cochlear implants in Romania, EURO-CIU member organizations presented their work and projects.

On Friday the 17th, after the Workshop concluded, a visit was made to the Palace of the Parliament (Parlamentul României) of Romania.
On Saturday the 18th, the EURO-CIU General Assembly was held, where reports on completed and future projects were presented. During the General Assembly, ONICI presented its candidacy for the 16th EURO-CIU International Symposium in Ghent, Belgium, which was unanimously approved.
